My Story

Hello there, and welcome to my blog! I'm Meghan, a Florida "implant" originally from the great state of Michigan! I'm a new mom to Kennedy Grace as of January 2014 and a wife to a pretty awesome guy named Thomas for the last 3 years and counting! I am absolutely obsessed with decorating, event planning, and creating memories out of everyday life. Any given day when I'm not at work, you'll find Kennedy and I cruising the aisles in her Tula at the Goodwill or Hobby Lobby to help turn our newly purchased house into a home.

I'm a lover of all things natural, so it shows in my decor. Birds, trees, and rustic-feeling items pretty much fill our entire home, with the exception of Kennedy's pinked-out nursery however! My goal with this blog is not only to share my favorite DIY projects and decor ideas, but also to inspire others as well! I'll be the first to admit that I am not the most consistent blogger out there, but I try to share my favorite projects and memories the best I can!

I'm so glad you're here and I hope you'll follow me through all of my life's "projects"!

With Love,
Meghan

  1. Nice story.

I've been to both Michigan and Florida, (I mean, I'm Canadian, that's what we do...) and, although I like both states, I really liked Michigan, (you can't beat the 'Michigan u-turn', what a concept!!!).

I was in West Bloomfield for a couple of days. I went there to observe SLP therapies and it was my first road trip with my newly adopted Dobi mix, Tali. Michigan appealed to my 'square' side: it was clean, ordered, easy to navigate, and pretty.

But, when you live in the 'great white north', you need beach time, so usually I end up in Florida or somewhere near there for some R & R.

I hope you've learned to enjoy Florida. Through my travels, I learned that a place sometimes is only as good as we make it.

    Ciao
